Rocker Panel Protection

Guard your rocker panels and door bottoms from road debris

Self-healing urethane film shields the lower zones most exposed to gravel, salt spray and tire-thrown rocks, stopping corrosion and paint chips before they start.

What It Protects

Built for the harshest road zone

Your rocker panels and door bottoms take constant abuse from gravel, road salt and flying debris kicked up by tires. A protective urethane film applied to these lower areas absorbs impacts and stops chips and corrosion where they happen most often.

The film's self-healing top coat lets minor scratches fade with heat, while the thick urethane layer underneath prevents the deep damage that leads to rust and permanent paint loss. Installation wraps edges so cleanly the protection stays completely hidden.

Why Protection Matters Here

Stop rust before it starts

Repairing corroded rocker panels costs hundreds to thousands. Preventing that damage with film is far cheaper and keeps your vehicle rust-free.

Self-healing top coat

Minor scratches and swirl marks vanish with heat from sun or warm water, keeping the film looking new.

Absorbs rock and gravel impact

Thick urethane stops flying debris and road chips that would otherwise pit and scar the paint underneath.

Completely invisible

Optically clear film with wrapped panel edges means no visible seams or protection showing.

Stops salt corrosion

Seals the vulnerable lower panel zone against salt spray and moisture that cause rust.

Hydrophobic surface

Water and road grime slide off, reducing moisture contact and making cleanup easier.

Precise partial coverage

Protect only the rocker and door-bottom zones that need it most, or extend to full lower-body panels.

The Installation

Flawless rocker panel coverage

Every job is completed in our climate-controlled bay by certified installers using verified patterns.

Inspect and prepare

The vehicle is washed, clayed and decontaminated. Any existing paint damage is assessed and corrected before film application.

Pattern and precision cut

Film is computer-cut to match your rocker panels and door bottoms from pre-verified templates, with no blades ever touching paint.

Wet installation

Each section is carefully positioned, squeegeed smooth and edges are wrapped and tucked around panels for a seamless fit.

Cure and final check

Film bonds fully over several days. We perform a final inspection and provide you with simple maintenance guidelines.

Common Questions

Rocker panel protection explained

Why do rocker panels need special protection?
Rocker panels sit in the direct line of gravel and road salt kicked up by tires. These lower zones corrode faster than other areas and are expensive to repair once rust sets in.
Can I see the film once it is installed?
No. The film is optically clear and edges are wrapped so tightly around panels that protection is completely invisible from normal viewing distance.
Does the self-healing coat really work on road chips?
Self-healing works on minor scratches and swirls. Deeper rock chips are absorbed by the thicker urethane layer underneath, which prevents them from reaching the paint.
How long will rocker panel film last?
Quality protective film lasts seven to ten years and typically includes a manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking and separation from the paint.
